Great place to stay and very affordable. We have 3 kids and most hotels are just too cramped. This was not the case here plenty of room. There is a nice simple but usable kitchenette as well which is nice to save money on eating out. Highly recommend choosing here.
I will 100% stay here again! The owner and staff were all wicked nice. Obviously not the Ritz, but the room was perfect for me.

6/25/2022. Chris and Donna are very beautiful people with great hearts. The rooms are so clean spacious neat and very very well maintained. I would highly recommend anyone coming into the area to stay at Lawrence Manor. The beds we’re so comfortable I did not even wanna get up in the morning to take the bus back to Manhattan
What a cute place! Quiet, secure and friendly! From the start, they showed me the room, walked me through everything available to me and made me feel welcomed. The rooms are comfortable and very well furnished and comfortable. My only complaint is the outdated bed linens. Otherwise, well worth the visit and stay!
I stayed at the Lawrence Manor on an extended basis for work. The staff was responsive and kind and made my months with them a joy. The rooms are clean, and the housekeeping team was professional and respectful of my belongings. The location is great, right in the middle of town. There is a grocery store within walking distance (Price Chopper) and a convenient store just around the corner. I will continue to recommend the Lawrence Manor to co-workers and out of town visitors traveling through Gouverneur.
I am an OTR truck driver and my truck had a major breakdown which required an extended stay. I stayed at the Lawrence Manor motel portion. I must say that this visit had to be the most relaxing time I have ever had at a motel! The rooms are actually clean, with modern up to date appliances Ms. Donna the Owner is a gem, she does her best to make you feel at home. And Ms. Christina is also the nicest as can be. Thank you Ladies for making a problem that I was having not so bad. The area is quiet and food within walking distance. If in the area stop by you won’t regret it.
Stayed here for a 4 night stay in August 2023. I stayed in a BnB room. The presentation was beautiful and the room with well done. The staff were also very courteous and kind. An all around great experience. I will be coming back to this hotel next time I am in the area.
